Yamaha uses the Yamaha key-integrated immobilizer system.
The immobilizer system is built in the ECM/ECU and or immobilizer ignition switch ring antenna, so we will need the unit and the antenna in order to make the keys work.
The red key is the main key. The black keys are the keys for daily use.

The key codes are stored in the memory of the ECU (aka ‘brain of the bike’).
If your ECU/ECM/Brain are irreparably damaged we can almost always read all the data. We can program this data into your new or used ECU/ECM/Brain!
Your bike will have the right encrypted key codes and will work again as original.
For this service please send your defective old ECU and a new or used ECU (preferably with the key-ring + key).

Yamaha ECU reset (code free)

The key codes are stored in the memory of the ECU/ECM-unit. For this price we can remove these and make your ECU code free. When you receive the unit back from us it will automatically program itself with the first key you use to start the bike. The key code security system will work as original.
